Into the Future Launch Trailer

So the launch trailer released this week tempting simmers everywhere as they are just itching to play the game. So here is a look at the trailer.

Omg it was like a movie trailer or something. I don't know if it was just me but that guys voice was really creepy. They touched up on all the aspects of the pack from the regular future to the utopian future with the happy go lucky sims and then the dystopian future with destruction everywhere. But I died laughing at 0.57 because for a moment I thought whoo hoo action was visible but it was just a plumbot shaking the girl lol but it was pretty funny. I am in love with the new kiss it reminds me of the kiss they showed with the Sims 4. But overall I can't wait till this expansion pack comes out and since I am taking a Science Fiction class this semester and watching all of these si-fi movies it only heightens my excitement with all the future set movie we are watching. Only a couple of more days simmers until we get our hands on this game.

My Thoughts on the Broadcast From 10/1/13

Now if you knew this or not there was a broadcast showcasing the Sims 3 Into the Future but unlike previous broadcast this one was private. Yup, this was one controversial broadcast and by controversial I mean fans were very angry that they were not able to see it because the broadcast was a special event only meant for the fan sites in the U.S. who advertise their game and give out info to the fans. Now I very much respect the sims 3 team that they want to do something special for their U.S. fan sites by giving them their own personal live broadcast but at least go about it right when it came to letting the fan sites know that this broadcast was only for them and so that they won't advertise a live broadcast on there website like it was a public viewing thing. That was one of the reasons people were so angry that these fan sites were advertising this broadcast but when people did tune in they got this private blocker and with the game's release in just a couple of weeks it made the non fan site fans feel more unwelcome  when it came to more info about the game and it make us wonder well why advertise this event at all? But in all honesty I thought it was nothing special I mean it didn't even bother me that I wasn't able to view the broadcast because I felt no new info was released that I already didn't know already and beside the video was going to be released to the public on Friday. But honestly if they had wanted to do something special for the fan sites then give them something different than their own private live broadcast because in my opinion that is nothing really special. When I saw the broadcast it just looked like a regular old broadcast that they do for the public and even the questions they asked were ok so I really did not see the need for the secrecy besides wasn't the fan sites "reward" was their invite to go to Sims camp at Gamescom in Germany I mean I would have loved to have gone or at least been invited to go but they invited and so would have dozens of other fans but they invited the fan sites for all the publicity they been giving there games. This live broadcast was nothing special nothing new I felt was shown and they even used the same house that they used in previous broadcast it would have been nice if they used a new house I would have loved to see the other houses. But I just want the game in my hands so I can play it for myself and really have some fun. The only big thing that I saw was the green rugs that let you plant stuff right in your home and you can put trees on them but that was it. And don't forget the next live PUBLIC broadcast is on Oct 17, 2013 where they will talk and show off the dystopia/utopia worlds and how to get them.

New World?

So apparently on twitter, I don't have an account but I saw it on simvip, that SimGuruBrett and SimGuruSmitty are working on then next store world for the Sims 3. So this means I was wrong in my Midnight Hollow post that it was the last store world. But for me I don't get excited about store worlds right away until I have more info on them like when Midnight Hollow was first announced it did not spark my interest but as more info came out like the OFB aspect I knew in that instant I had to have the world and when I saw the look at the world via screenshots with that dark eerie look to it then I really knew I wanted it because it went with that style that I love. But with this new world coming I want to see something different something totally outside the box like they did with Midnight Hollow. If you look at past store worlds like Luner Lakes with the who alien type vibe, Sunlit Tides with the tropical Hawaii look, Dragon Valley bringing the medieval aspect, Hidden Springs an upscale type wilderness, Monte Vista inspired by Italy, Lucky Palms bringing a desert type/casino aspect, all of these world brought a certain uniqueness to the game and that is what made all of these worlds great. So with this new world I personally want to see something different than the other worlds because with the other world all of them were labeled as suburbs but for the new world I hope they make it a city. Think about for them people who don't download worlds from the exchange like me only have one city world, Bridgeport which can only be obtained from the expansion pack Late Night. But if the store team made another city world it can give a city world to people who don't own Late night and it can give an option for people to choose a city to play in other that Bridgeport. That's just my logic behind it because I love Bridgeport but to have another city to play in will be really cool. What do you guys thing? What type of world do you wanna see next? City? Suburb? Or maybe something totally new that might fit in with ITF?
