Roaring Heights: The New Sims 3 World

So this week an all new store world was announced and I have to say it looks AMAZING!!! The world is like a cross between the 1920's and modern day Miami but the best part about it is, its a freaking CITY!!!! OMG finally a city a new city to live in beside Bridgeport I have been waiting for a world like this for a long time now. Here is the video for Roaring Heights:

Anyway here is what Roaring Heights is all about:

Welcome to a city where bold shapes, rich colors, and lavish looks rule the skyline! The residents of Roaring Heights are living in the fast lane in this booming place filled with striking skyscrapers and bustling beaches. Whether you’re content to hang out on the piers, work your way to the top, or host glamorous parties at home, there’s a place for every lifestyle. With endless opportunities at your front door, which new life will you choose in Roaring Heights?

Oh man a new city world finally!!! But aside from the city atmosphere Roaring Heights also comes with some pretty amazing Premium Content. With purchase of the world you can get the Classically Cool Fixer Upper Car which is basically like the Sims 2 Freetime where you can fix up the car to your liking.

Now I read the description on the car and from what I have read you have to have the handyness skill to really get creative in fixing the car. You can show off the car by making the engine purr much like what guys do in real life. But the best part is that you can Whoo Hoo in the car and of course make out in the car. But hello your sims can finally Whoo hoo in cars again but I wonder if this only applies to the fixer upper car or once you get the premium content in your game will it apply to all cars? I have to test this out.

I think Roaring Heights is so pretty it reminds me of the Great Gatsby and that store set with flappers will look great in this city. Now like always there are two versions of this world the Standard and the gold version. The Standard Version includes the world, 100 Simpoints, and the fixer upper car. The Gold version includes the world, 1,900 Simpoints, the fixer upper car, and the new  boardwalk attire. Now those simpoints that come with the gold version you can purchase anything with those but like always the sims 3 store team has a specific item that they would like for you to purchase with those extra points. And that item is this:

The Sky High Roller Coster the venue is like a boardwalk with access to the beach and its own personal roller coster. OMG so excited!!! This coster is filled with twist and turns and looped de loops and of course what is a Sims 3 roller coster without the ability to customize it, yup you can build your very own roller coster oh man this takes me back to my Makin' Magic days ah good times lol. So that is it for now for Roaring Heights and I have to say I am in love with the world from the roller coster, to the new car and to that city atmosphere everything about this wold tells me that it is a must have. Roaring Height will be available December 12, 2013 and it all depends on you on what version to get my recommendation would be if you have the simpoints already to by the stand alone venue then go for the standard version and save your money but if you don't have the Simpoints and you really want the venue then go for the Gold.

Into the Future Launch Trailer

So the launch trailer released this week tempting simmers everywhere as they are just itching to play the game. So here is a look at the trailer.

Omg it was like a movie trailer or something. I don't know if it was just me but that guys voice was really creepy. They touched up on all the aspects of the pack from the regular future to the utopian future with the happy go lucky sims and then the dystopian future with destruction everywhere. But I died laughing at 0.57 because for a moment I thought whoo hoo action was visible but it was just a plumbot shaking the girl lol but it was pretty funny. I am in love with the new kiss it reminds me of the kiss they showed with the Sims 4. But overall I can't wait till this expansion pack comes out and since I am taking a Science Fiction class this semester and watching all of these si-fi movies it only heightens my excitement with all the future set movie we are watching. Only a couple of more days simmers until we get our hands on this game.

My Thoughts on the Broadcast From 10/1/13

Now if you knew this or not there was a broadcast showcasing the Sims 3 Into the Future but unlike previous broadcast this one was private. Yup, this was one controversial broadcast and by controversial I mean fans were very angry that they were not able to see it because the broadcast was a special event only meant for the fan sites in the U.S. who advertise their game and give out info to the fans. Now I very much respect the sims 3 team that they want to do something special for their U.S. fan sites by giving them their own personal live broadcast but at least go about it right when it came to letting the fan sites know that this broadcast was only for them and so that they won't advertise a live broadcast on there website like it was a public viewing thing. That was one of the reasons people were so angry that these fan sites were advertising this broadcast but when people did tune in they got this private blocker and with the game's release in just a couple of weeks it made the non fan site fans feel more unwelcome  when it came to more info about the game and it make us wonder well why advertise this event at all? But in all honesty I thought it was nothing special I mean it didn't even bother me that I wasn't able to view the broadcast because I felt no new info was released that I already didn't know already and beside the video was going to be released to the public on Friday. But honestly if they had wanted to do something special for the fan sites then give them something different than their own private live broadcast because in my opinion that is nothing really special. When I saw the broadcast it just looked like a regular old broadcast that they do for the public and even the questions they asked were ok so I really did not see the need for the secrecy besides wasn't the fan sites "reward" was their invite to go to Sims camp at Gamescom in Germany I mean I would have loved to have gone or at least been invited to go but they invited and so would have dozens of other fans but they invited the fan sites for all the publicity they been giving there games. This live broadcast was nothing special nothing new I felt was shown and they even used the same house that they used in previous broadcast it would have been nice if they used a new house I would have loved to see the other houses. But I just want the game in my hands so I can play it for myself and really have some fun. The only big thing that I saw was the green rugs that let you plant stuff right in your home and you can put trees on them but that was it. And don't forget the next live PUBLIC broadcast is on Oct 17, 2013 where they will talk and show off the dystopia/utopia worlds and how to get them.

New World?

So apparently on twitter, I don't have an account but I saw it on simvip, that SimGuruBrett and SimGuruSmitty are working on then next store world for the Sims 3. So this means I was wrong in my Midnight Hollow post that it was the last store world. But for me I don't get excited about store worlds right away until I have more info on them like when Midnight Hollow was first announced it did not spark my interest but as more info came out like the OFB aspect I knew in that instant I had to have the world and when I saw the look at the world via screenshots with that dark eerie look to it then I really knew I wanted it because it went with that style that I love. But with this new world coming I want to see something different something totally outside the box like they did with Midnight Hollow. If you look at past store worlds like Luner Lakes with the who alien type vibe, Sunlit Tides with the tropical Hawaii look, Dragon Valley bringing the medieval aspect, Hidden Springs an upscale type wilderness, Monte Vista inspired by Italy, Lucky Palms bringing a desert type/casino aspect, all of these world brought a certain uniqueness to the game and that is what made all of these worlds great. So with this new world I personally want to see something different than the other worlds because with the other world all of them were labeled as suburbs but for the new world I hope they make it a city. Think about for them people who don't download worlds from the exchange like me only have one city world, Bridgeport which can only be obtained from the expansion pack Late Night. But if the store team made another city world it can give a city world to people who don't own Late night and it can give an option for people to choose a city to play in other that Bridgeport. That's just my logic behind it because I love Bridgeport but to have another city to play in will be really cool. What do you guys thing? What type of world do you wanna see next? City? Suburb? Or maybe something totally new that might fit in with ITF?

The Sims 3 Live Broadcast 9/17 Breakdown

So the Sims 3 Live broadcast aired on September 17 was showcasing The Sims 3 Into the Future, Midnight Hollow, and for some strange reason The Sims 3 Movie Stuff. Now I did not get the chance to see the live broadcast live due to school so I figure I wait till the replay. Well it turns out I was waiting for a while because the live broadcast replay is set to private since Tuesday and at the moment the video is still private. But I noticed that instead of trying to fix it the sims 3 team apparently uploaded separate videos of the live broadcast on Youtube and that is great for some one who saw the broadcast when it first aired and they just want to see a certain section of it but for someone like me I wanted to see the whole thing instead of the separate videos and these videos don't even include the Q&A portion. But thankfully some lucky simmer posted the live broadcast in full on youtube and I will post that one here on my blog, so here it is.

So what did I think of this live broadcast? Well first off I loved the King Cho was hosting it because I am not a fan of Ryan and his fake excitement. King I feel has more of a personality when makes for a much more interesting broadcast. So the for thing on the agenda was The Sims 3 Movie Stuff??? First of I am a little puzzled as to why they are showing off this game because the game is already out so half of the simmers out there already know what is in this pack because they have been playing it for sometime. And honestly I felt like I was watching a review of the pack where they show off the contents, clothes, and items and I already have seen all of this stuff b/c A) I have the game and B) there are already reviews like this from youtube lets players. So I truly felt this point of the broadcast was pointless and unnecessary, maybe they just wanted to make the broadcast longer so they figured why not add The Movie Stuff Pack again in the broadcast even though its out in stores and simmers already know what is in the pack already, good job sims 3 team good job. If this was the case they should have extended the walkthrough of Midnight Hollow so Lisa could have showed off the CAS items instead of having her make it later and putting it up on youtube, which by the way it still isn't up, but I think it would have made the broadcast ten times better to see more info on Midnight Hollow.
So with that being said lets get to beginning of the broadcast well at least for me, The Sims 3 Into the Future. King Cho did the pre-made walkthrough of the game where he showed off some female CAS clothing, hair, and makeup, should the sim synthesizing some food and made some Chocolate Gnomes, he showed us a plumbot who is afraid of humans and fainted on the spot and the he dirties the floor hopefully he has a cleaning chip so he can clean his own mess. Then we saw the Quantum Power Chamber:

This Chamber comes with the limited edition of the game when you pre-order it and you can also change into a quantum power suit which allows you to transport to any community lot which is awesome now you have another way to travel in the future if you have the limited edition. Also I totally forgot about theses guys.

I think the sprites are too cute!!! Sprites are the new digi pets in the future if you have the holo disk object and you can also unlock more sprites over time. Then we got a look at the wasteland and the mysterious crash landed space ship and to get into the space ship well just like the map pieces in Island Paradise you would have to collect at least 4 mysterious fragments which will create a key that unlocks the ship. Inside of the ship are chambers with pedestals with different items to collect and you can also unlock program chips for stuff related to the sims 4 like the wall art and the dream pod. And while in the wasteland we got a look at the new plant the crystal plant.

The crystal plants are pretty cool not only can you plant them but you can inject them with emotions like love, happiness, laughter, and rage where you can use it on yourself or give it to another sim and you can also plant it in your own garden. Also now when you pre-order with origin along with the quantum power set you also get the Dark Industrial Set and from what King told us the set has like a Steampunk type of a vibe, as of right now no pic has been release at least to my knowledge but I will look out for it and when I do see it I will post it right here on this post.

Here is the origin exclusive content if you order ITF from Origin. it has that rustic industrial type look and I guess its ok its not as good as the limited edition item that you get if you order it from anywhere. I only saw this because its ITF related and this does not feel like the future. And that ends the ITF part of the broadcast now the moment everyone has been waiting for a first look at the final sims 3 store world Midnight Hollow!!!
Midnight Hollow I think will be my new favorite sims 3 world my old favorite was Dragon Valley mostly because of the dragons and because the world reminded me of Charmed for some reason. So Lisa our favorite store world guru showed off the new world which releases next Thursday!!! So first impression from map view the world looks huge I don't know if its just me but store worlds seem to be getting bigger and bigger. But anyway I really like the concept behind the world this dark, victorian type feel and I like that kinda like Dragon Vally this world is also secluded from everything else because of the valley around it while the town itself kept it vintage appeal. So Lisa showed off the pieces available with the Savvy Sellers Collection which include some rugs, a couple of pedestals, and a new parking space. Now just like the Open for Business concept for the sims 2 the sims 3 works the same way but a little more advanced with sims 3 features, you can sell any item in build/buy mode from toilets to cars but it does not include collectables like minerals, seashells from Island Paradise and other things that your sims collect these items you CAN'T sell. Now you can set prices either individually, one item one price, or collectively all items same price. Then we got a look at the new venue that comes with the gold edition and that is The Golden Ticket Toy Store:

Yup that is right guys toy making is back in the sims and it is pretty sweet. The toy store is amazing when I first saw it my mind already began thinking of so many ideas that I can do with that toy store and some many other Toy Store's I can make with the items from the Toy Store. Does that ever happen to you? Like when you hear of a new item coming out with the sims especially when it comes to this world in general and you begin thinking off all the new items and shops you can now make with the open for business content. I know when the world was announced and we learned we are getting Open for business aspect back in the game I immediately knew I wanted to revamp all of my worlds with different shops. So Lisa also told us that YES our world will turn red just like in the pictures and I think that its awesome it will give this world that spooky eerie feel and I love that aspect and I like the fact that there will be no daylight in a sense. This world just brings so much nostalgia from the sims 2 from the Open for Business aspect, to the toy maker, and even the background music which is from the sims 2 and I just think those elements alone is what makes this world stand out from other worlds and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Oh and one last thing before I go in my last post I said stick with the standard version for now when you buy the world well for me at least that advice has changed because I defiantly want that Toy Store and I will be getting that gold edition. lol Happy simming guys!!!

New World: Midnight Hollow First Thoughts

Ok so the final world that is going to be released for the Sims 3 was announced this week and its called Midnight Hollow. Its more of an eerie, creepy, Halloween/Victorian type of world with Victorian mansions and wait for it you get to run your own business!!!! Yup thats right anything from a furniture shop, a car dealership, an electronic store the possibilities are endless. Now I can official say that the open for business aspect is officially back in the Sims because in all honesty although the Its Business Time Industrial Oven was great for opening your own restaurant, with this new premium content item lets you open up a new shop just like the good old days from the Sims 2. So anyway here is the trailer that was released for this new world.

First of all props to the Sims 3 world team because this world looks amazing. I love the whole dark, spooky, steampunk type vibe I get with this town mostly cause I'm just that type of girl lol. And there are already some new outfits and clothing that I'm in love with.

Like this one I love those cute ponytails it reminds me of the hairstyles from the Anime books I would read and that dress is so cute its hard to see because she is bending down but I love the detail on the bottom.

See this whole Steampunk feel especially with the outfits the guy with the hat and goggles on top and the girl with this cute corset style of a dress which I love by the way.

So overall I really love this new town and I will defiantly be buying this one when it comes out. Now the difference between the two versions the standard and the gold is not known yet. Aside form the price difference 2, 450 Simpoints, but since its a new world and its more than likely going to go on sale for like a thousand and something Simpoints just for the standard version and I haven't even touched base on the gold version so you would be spending $20 just for the standard. Now for the gold its a bit pricy its 4,350 Simpoints and on sale it would be about 3,250 Simpoints if my calculation is correct, you whould have to spend at least $40 just to buy enough Simpoints for the world. And at this point therre is no telling what you are spending it on because the info of what the difference is between the two versions is not clear yet. In my opinion right now the standard version is your best bet because it does include the premium content of the business cash register and really that is going to be the reason most people are going to want this world for that business aspect and unless the gold version offers this really amazing extra Premium content item like Aurora Skies did with its Toddler walker and playpen so your toddlers can teach themselves how to walk and talk cause that ballon was not all that great IMO. So yeah stick to the standard and when more info gets released hopefully during the live broadcast on Sept 17 at 10 am pst and thats at 1pm for people here on the East coast like me, then base your decision on what version you will be getting. Midnight Hollow will be released on Sept 26.

The Sims 3 Movie Stuff Pack: Superheroes and Villains

Hi all so this week the final trailer for The Sims 3 Movie Stuff pack was released and it was all about the superheroes and supervillains, showing off the clothing and decor for them. Now I am some what of a fan of the superhero type movies and T.V. shows, as you know superhero movies have been exploding on the big screen for the last couple of years from The Avengers, Man of Steel, The Amazing Spiderman and from what I hear Justice League movie in in the makes as well. But aside from the big screen the small screen also gets its taste of superheroes from Smallville telling the story of a young Superman, Heroes and most recently Arrow which has become one of my favorite shows and Marvel Agents of the S.H.I.E.L.D a new show premiering this fall. I remember when I was younger I was a big fan of the T.V. show Teen Titans, The Powerpuff Girls, and most importantly Sailer Moon they were my favorite cartoon superhero shows growing up and I hope one day Teen Titans can be adapted to the big screen cause I will surly pay to go and watch it. But anyway enough talk lets jump into the trailer.

When it can to the trailer I thought it was ok I mean it did not blow my mind or anything. But here is where my issue comes up when it comes to this stuff pack, all though I like the idea concept Movie Stuff and picking three movie genres and bring element from different movies and giving it to our sims to have something new to wear and new objects to play with and to tell a story with that and I love that whole idea. But when you take an element like the hero or superhero or a villain most people associate them with having these amazing powers and abilities that no normal human can have to help save the world or destroy it and  for a stuff pack this does not work. From the trailer all I see is a bunch of sims at a Spooky Day party or some weird hero/villain costume contest the only thing hero/villain outfits adds to the Sims lives is a new outfit to where for a Spooky Day costume party.

I mean the costumes are ok you have this Freezer Bunny costume in the center doing the famous super hero pose, then you have the guy in a blue, green, and yellow costume I don't known maybe he is peacock man or something lol, the women have verity as well one in pants and the other in a skirt and the one in the red skirt her boots remind me of Sailor Moon's boots, you have the villain costume all in black cause what is a hero costume without the villain, and last but not least you have something for the kids in a greenish/yellow type of outfit. Aside from outfits there is also some new decor.

We get some nice new cars with the wing type back I mean paint that car all black and you have yourself the bat mobile and along with a new car you have a new motorcycle with some wings on it as well because every hero needs a car and motorcycle with wings. You have this floating glove in the back which reminds me of the Green Lantern where his lantern floats in the center of the light surrounding it. I have to say I really love the display case in the back showing off the costume and head gear it would be nice if that could work as a dresser to change to your superhero costume. Also in the photo you have some new posters, a new living chair and a new table but I can not figure out if the thing behind the floating arm is wall art or an just an arch leading to a new room, my guess is on the wall art.

Now this thing is pretty cool and if you can interact with it and if its not just for display then that would enhance the whole heroes and villains aspect to have a working laser I would love that so much. So aside some of the issues I have with heroes and villains genre I love most of the decor items and the whole idea of making your own lair is very interesting and I could have fun with that. So I ask you guys what is your favorite Superhero movie or favorite Superhero T.V. show? The Sims 3 Movie Stuff pack releases in just a couple of days on September 10 and if you guys Pre-order from Origin you get this.

An Origin exclusive pre-order The Director's Set which includes back stage items like the directors chair, movie lights like flood lights, mood lighting and search lights, a movie clapper and other baackstage movie related accessories.

The Sims 3 Into the Future Post Gamescom Review

So with Gamescom behind us and Into the Future releasing in two months. I figure I give my opinions on what I thought of the live broadcast that was shown at gamescom and my opinions about the Producer walkthrough video release yesterday. So here they are.

The first thing that I was disappointed about when I first saw both of the videos is the fact that they changed the name of the future world from Arcadia Landing to Oasis Landing!!! When I saw the live broadcast and heard King Choi talk about the new town and he kept calling it Oasis Landing and I thought he got the name wrong but it turns out the sims 3 team changed the name of it the reasons for this is completely unknown to me because I actually like the name Arcadia Landing, it was cool it was different and Oasis Landing sounds blah lol. But despite the unfortunate name change it does not change the way the world itself looks and it looks pretty amazing. The Sims 3 team worked really hard in making this world and all of it new features and with this being the last expansion for the sims 3 I feel they did a great job in ending the sims 3 franchise. From the look of the town, to the new ways of transport like jetpacks, the monorail, and the hoverboard aka the "windcrarver" lol which is a totally cool name I love all the different modes of transport. In regards to the descendants when they first told us that we get to meet our descendants I was like well how will that work? How will we know they are our descendants? In the producer walkthrough you see how the sim travels to the wasteland and meets his descendants, its just I don't know I mean I known you can change there lives based on what you do in the present but how do you know who your descendants are? Lol ists just still confusing to me.  Now I am not going to get in to a very heavy detail of all the info that was released on this expansion pack cause it is a lot to breakdown and nitpick all of the feature so for that I am going to work on a facts blog for the sims 3 into the future, which is going to list all the new feature the game has to offer all in one place not only for my benefit but for the benefit of anyone who reads this blog.

The Sims 4 First Thoughts

Hey Guys,
So as most of you Simmers know Gamescom started this week in Germany and today the Sims 4 team revealed a first look at what the Sims 4 has to offer and I have to say it has gotten me pretty excited about the Sims 4. At first I was all not into the sims 4 when they first announced it because I was still into the sims 3 and I was too busy playing that game but now that I have seen what the sims 4 has to offer, I am pretty happy with how the game looks so far. But anyway here is the trailer/producer type of walkthrough of the Sims 4.

So based on the trailer I am very impressed. The trailer started off with Create A Sim and how the new features work and instead of using sliders like in past Sims games you can change the look of your sims with just a click from your mouse.

Just like in the Sims 3 where you can change the facial features and the body types the Sims 4 has these same type of options but it gives you more of a wider range and more detailed in how you want your sims to look. But from the photos I have seen and from the video I did not see if you can change the height of the sim but hopefully a photo of that would be shown in the near future. The next part of the video went into the actual house building and the new tools for that. In all honesty I actually love building houses in my game although I am not the greatest builder like other simmers out there but I feel like I do a pretty decent job lol.

When I first saw the hose being built from the video it kinda reminded me of an advanced version of blueprint mode from the Sims 3 to the fact that if you don't like where you placed a room you can just pick it up and put it somewhere else and the new build function also reminded me of the Sims facebook game and how you can take the wall and expand it without having to demolish the wall to make it bigger. So at the moment I am not a big fan of the new build mode, maybe as more info comes in I might change my mind.

The next part of the video showcase the actual gameplay for the Sims 4 and the new emotions that your sims can have. The emotions give a whole new depth to your sims where instead of knowing what the sims mood is by the mood bar from previous games, where the sims were either happy or depressed the new emotions feature lets you know just how exactly your sims are feeling from happy, sad, depressed, furious, bored, confident, excited, fine, focused, flirty, passionate, and so much more. And emotions are also colored based kinda like a mood ring where the color of the emotions bar changes based on what mood you sims are in. From the look of things emotions bring a different feeling to the sims game play and since the sims is supposed to be like real life adding emotions I think is a great feature for the sims. Also with the decor I have seen so far, if this is the base game then then decor looks amazing, I mean compared to the base game decor from Sims 1, 2, and 3,the sims 4 decor looks more stylish and with that being the case I know when expansions for the sims 4 start to come out I know the houses would be nicely furnished. So based on the trailer and the screenshots so far I am looking forward to the Sims 4 and I can't wait for more information to surface on this game cause I will defiantly be blogging about it. UPDATE: So I was looking on amazon and the sims 4 was available for pre-order and also the release date was there now im not sure if this is the correct date but it says December 31,2014!!! Like OMG if this is the correct date then that is seriously a long wait considering to the fact that they are releasing trailers and game play info now and getting simmers excitement for the game up cause that is a long wait.

The Sims 3 Movie Stuff: The Horror Genre

So just yesterday the new video was released from The Sims 3 Movie Stuff pack and this video was advertising the elements and stuff from the genre of horror. Horror can be either someone's favorite or least favorite genre ranging from comedy horror like Scary Movie, to horror suspense like Rear Window, to the ever classic scary horror with movies like The Exorcist and the Saw Movies and in my opinion those movies are pretty scary. I personally have a love hate relationship when it comes to horror movies, on one hand I love watching not only do they bring the entertainment of watching this crazed killer go on a killing spree but you also have the stupidity of the victims in the film as they go and investigate the basement where the killer is or as they are running from the killer they just so happen to fall on the floor lol and you are sitting on your couch watching these people and yelling at them for doings these things lol. And on the other hand its a HORROR and there are just some moment that are just too scary for me to handle and I just can't watch it. But I have to say some of my favorite horror's have to be The Exorcist, the Halloween franchise, and my favorite horror television show would have to be Supernatural. So lets take a look at the trailer.

I actually liked the trailer it looked like a play on what you would see in any classic horror, someone in the kitchen making food and all of a sudden the killer comes from behind and kills them. I also like the fact that they are combining these trailers with other expansion packs, the western genre was shown with pets and now this one was shown with supernatural which is cool cause not only does it give you new options for your normal sims but also your supernatural sims as well.

From the look of things this pack looks like it comes with some sweet new clothes. And the sim in the red her outfit reminds me of something from The Rocky Horror Picture Show which is one of my favorite films and her outfit looks like something Dr. Frank-n-Furter would wear. And the sim in the pink outfit looks like it would work well for the gypsy fortune teller career and I really love that scarf piece on top of her head.

Now in this photo the center sims outfit looks like a dead ringer for Sally's dress from the Nightmare Before Christmas one of my favorite Tim Burton films. I mean take away that head piece and give this girl orange hair and you would have Sally in your game lol. Now the other female sim in the photo even though it is the same outfit from the other picture but in the gray and black color scheme it reminds me of Edward Scissorhands and even with that new up do hair style my mind just thought of a female version of Edward Scissorhands. And the male's outfit has that same type of patch work as the other female sim and I think its ok but not great I don't like the way the jacket falls and the bow in the center I do not like.

In this photo it looks like we will be getting a brand new bed which is neat, some new curtains, a new bookcase, new columns, and way far in the back of the background a new fire place which I am in love with. I love the glowing eyes and the dark eerie feeling coming from it, I think I might be my new favorite fireplace. Overall I think the horror genre looks pretty cool I love that the creators made the clothing items reflect different movie that we have seen. So I hope you enjoy my review on the horror genre and tell me in the comments below: Do you love horror movie? And if so what is your favorite film?

The Sims 3 Movie Stuff Pack: The Western

Hi everyone today I will be giving my first thoughts on the last stuff pack for the Sims 3 and its called the Sims 3: Movie Stuff. I have to say I and pretty excited about this stuff pack. I am currently a Cinema Studies major so watching movies 24/7 is like all the norm in each and everyone of my classes so having a stuff pack based on the different genres of movies makes me one happy Cinema major lol. Some of my favorite western films would have to be "Giant" directed by George Stevens starring Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean, the movie "Wild Wild West with Will Smith and "Stagecoach" just to name a few. The stuff pack itself is focused on three genres of movies the western, the horror, and superheroes and supervillians. But today I will be talking only about the Western since that was the focus genre of the trailer so here it is.

Wow I thought that trailer was so funny I mean you have this typical duel that you would normally see in a western but instead of drawing out their guns the girl farts up a storm lol it was pretty hilarious. And to think that was only part one of three so I can't wait till the other two parts are out to see how they showcase the other two genres.

Going by the trailer and the screen shots that I have seen it looks like people can create some amazing stories with just the western genre alone. From the picture above you see a new hair style for the women and I am guessing that is a new hat type hairstyle for the men but I know there was a hat like that already in the game but I'm 100% sure lol. But the clothes are totally new with the female Sim wearing a salon dress and the men wearing what men would wear in the west white shirt with a vest on top, jeans with some chaps over them and I love it all. And on the guy with the chaps he is totally sporting a new mustache and right behind those two guy you see what looks like a poster of some sorts with horses.

This stuff pack so far look pretty cool the clothes from the west look authentic enough that you might think about making your own salon or small little western town. So I hope you enjoyed this post about The Sims 3 Movie Stuff pack The western genre more to come when the new trailer comes out and please leave any comments or feedback that you have it will be very much appreciated. And tell me what is your favorite Western Film?

The Sims 3 Into the Future First Thoughts

Hello I am here to share my first thoughts of the Sims 3 Into the Future which is the last expansion pack of the Sims 3 franchise. I have to admit I was not excited about this expansion pack when they first announced it earlier in the year but after seeing the trailer my excitement level went through the roof. The first thing I thought of when I saw the trailer was the cartoon the Jetsons, I used to love the Jetsons when I was a kid and I would watch it when ever it came on TV and I still watch it on TV whenever it comes on boomerang. But the trailer truly exceeded my expectations of how the sims 3 developers would create the future world in the Sims 3. So lets jump into the trailer.

The trailer I thought was amazing, it looks like there is so much to do from hover boards, to jet packs, to plumbots, hover cars, holographic plants, and TV's, glass flooring which I am pretty excited about you can make some amazing houses with this new build object.
The Sims are literally stepping into a whole new world with all new places and objects for your Sims to enjoy. And from what I heard from the live broadcast it sounds like their is going the be a shopping mall for your Sims to go to shop for products from the future and that sounds pretty steller in my opinion. I have always wanted my Sims to have a mall type of a lot so they can spend the day their shopping around and then later going to get a bite to eat. Another thing that excites me about this pack are these guys right here.

Plumbots the Simbots of the future. And unlike the Simbots or the Servo's from the Sims 1, Plumbots can come equipped with their own personalities. Apparently you can program them with different chips that lets them do different things around the house from cooking to taking care of the children and that sounds really cool. Also with the Plumbot you can customize them in create a Sim but in their case it might be called create a bot lol. While their you can give your plumbots all new look making one Plumbot different from another, im guessing using that machine that is shown in the picture above. There is even a new café that will be run by Plumbots where they will be taking orders and serving food to Sims.

I honestly can not wait for this expansion pack to be released I have always been a fan of anything involving the future from tv shows like Doctor Who and The Jetsons to movies like The Fifth Element the future has always been a fascination of mine and its nice to see how many different ways people interpret the way the future is going to be like. I know I haven't fully touched based on everything that is going to be offered in this game but this is just my first opinions and thoughts based on what I have seen in the trailer. Hopefully people like my first thoughts on this game this is actually my first blog post on something that I really love so I hope you enjoy this as well.
